Sahbum Nim Keith Shaw, owner of Shaw’s National Karate Institute said, “The students did a phenomenal job. And for some of them it was their very first competition. Whenever you perform in front of a large audience, it takes confidence, courage, determination and character. They all displayed a winning attitude, and did not quit! I am extremely proud of every one of them for demonstrating the mental and physical discipline and overall essence of what it means to be a Black Belt student at Shaw’s National Karate Institute.”
